Eduardo de Paula Ribeiro Filho

Before joining BSR, acted for 19 years in the Brazilian financial market in leadership positions focused in Trade & Commodity Finance – TCF and Agribusiness. He started his career at Banco Francês e Brasileiro (Credit Lyonnais) and later held the position of TCF Director at ING Bank in Brazil and later as Agribusiness Director at ABN Amro Brazil. In the last two institutions, he was involved in financing some of the main Brazilian agribusiness projects of the last 20 years. As director at ABN Amro Brazil, some of the main mergers and acquisitions in the Sugar & Ethanol sectors were made possible by the team led by Eduardo de Paula Ribeiro Filho. In 2003, a Project Finance transaction structured by his team won the “Trade finance Deal of the Year” award by Trade Finance Magazine. At BSR, Eduardo is responsible for business and relationship contacts.

Marcos Antonio Sarmiento

Has about 40 years experience as a financial advisor, project controller, having also worked intensively in a company analysis and appraisals. Before joining BSR, he worked for UNILEVER´s food division, for DURATEX as the Manager for financial analyses and, before that, as an accountant for three other companies. Mr. Sarmiento holds a post graduate degree in Business Management and Finances from Fundação Getulio Vargas. At BSR, Sarmiento is responsible for the technical area of projects.
